Here we have a party of questions that some of you may wish to boogie to:
1. Why Seconddimension?
We wanted the name to have some kind of significance and felt Seconddimension was referential to the site's content, pour example, Second Dimension (or 2D) points to the ancestry of videogames (in order to understand the future you must understand the past). The name also has routes in our love for science-fiction and the handle 'DD' (or 2D, geddit?) bears the initials of the website's two authors.
2. What is your policy for reviews?
We basically review everything we've played/seen/read (which, being the 'culture' freaks we are is quite a lot). Unfortunately for us, though, we do have to buy and pay for everything that is reviewed on the site and it's for this reason you may not find coverage of <insert game/film/comic here>. That said, if you do have any suggestions or recommendations for us you can drop a line at administrator@seconddimension.net
3. Your site sux0rZ, who made it?
The site was actually glued together by ourselves using chewing-gum and lolly-sticks. We realise it's somewhat dated in terms of dynamic content and are working towards getting something a little more substantial in the coming weeks.
4. Why isn't your site dynamic?
See above answer.
5. Do we accept submissions for reviews?
As a rule, no, though in the future we may be recruiting some additional staff for writing/webmastery etc so watch out.
6. Is there a public forum for the site?
Yes there is, you can find it here.
7. I disagree with your review of <insert game/film/comic here>, you guys suck and I hate you. Errr...can I have your e-mail address so I can tell you?
Yep, you can contact either of us at vforvaljalo@seconddimension.net or quiburg@seconddimension.net. Whilst we don't expect everyone to agree with us (reviews are afterall only a matter of opinion) we'd be happy to receive feedback from you...so we can punish you (preferably on Halo2). But seriously, feel free :)
8. Do you guys play games online?
We sure do! Quiburg's xboxlive Gamertag is ChiefStiltzkin, you're welcome to ride a warthog with him...but he calls shotgun!
As for The V, he's the echo of that sniper round that just passed through the front of your helmet. You won't find him - but he'll definitely find you...
